7: Easter: "Christ the Lord is risen today"


Easter is just around the corner. Here's a traditional hymn to sing to announce that "Christ the Lord is risen today" - a Methodist hymn (MH 302).

    Thanks for posting a link to Charles Wesley's great resurrection hymn. It was sung for the first time on this date in 1739. (And this also happens to be the anniversary of Wesley's death in 1788.)
